F&F MOLDING Vintage Dollhouse Kitchen Furniture, 1/2" Scale, Soft Plastic

F&F Mold & Die Works manufactured dollhouse furniture, though it is often categorized by collectors as "dollhouse appliances." Like their cars and character mugs, these pieces were primarily produced in the 1950s as promotional premiums. If you have a set of plastic dollhouse items marked "F&F," you likely have one of their collaboration sets with major appliance brands.

The "General Electric" Collaboration
F&F's most famous foray into dollhouse miniatures was a series of kitchen and laundry appliances modeled after actual General Electric (GE) products of the era.

Items Produced: The set typically included a stove (range), refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, and clothes dryer.

Scale: These were usually 1:24 scale (half-inch scale), making them slightly smaller than the 1:12 scale furniture common in boutique dollhouses, but perfect for the tin lithograph dollhouses (like those made by Marx) that were popular in the 1950s.

Colors: They were manufactured in the "trendy" kitchen colors of the mid-century, including White, Pink, Turquoise (Aqua), Yellow, and Beige.

Identification & Features
Unlike some of the more generic plastic furniture of the time, F&F pieces are known for their specific branding:

The Markings: They are clearly embossed on the back or bottom with "F&F Mold & Die Works, Dayton, Ohio" and often featured the GE logo on the front of the appliance.

Distribution: These weren't typically sold in toy stores in large boxes. Instead, they were often mail-in premiums where a child (or parent) would send in a few box tops from a cereal or soap brand plus a small fee to receive the "modern" kitchen set.

Condition: All items should be considered in good played-with condition.
